Founded by Robert Bitgood Sr., with a passion for precision and quality craftsmanship, our journey began in the late 1990s. Robert Sr. initially honed his skills crafting custom cabinets for his grandfather-in-law, instilling in him the values of hard work and attention to detail.
Born in the Field
Opportunity knocked, and Robert Sr. answered. A friend presented an opportunity to join a local window and door replacement company in Lake Worth, Florida. This is where Robert Sr. found his true calling. With determination and grit, he mastered the art of window and door installation, elevating it to a fine craft. Through years of dedication, he became a true expert in his field and decided to start Sunset View Windows and Doors with his wife Sandy who still works in the business to this day.
The legacy didn’t end there. Robert Sr. passed down his knowledge and expertise to his sons, Robert Jr. and Ryan, through the time-honored tradition of father-son apprenticeship. Together, they formed an unbreakable bond, united by a shared passion for excellence and love for hard work.
Life took its turns, leading Robert Jr. to serve his country in the US Marine Corps with honor and distinction. Yet, his roots called him back, and he returned home to carry on the family legacy. With Robert Sr.’s blessing, the torch was passed to the next generation.
As Robert Jr. stepped into the role of leadership, Ryan, inspired by the men who preceded him, followed his own path of service, joining the US Army. His dedication to duty and discipline only strengthened his resolve to uphold the Bitgood name and, like his brother, returned home after completing his service with honor and distinction.
With brothers at the helm, our family business thrived. Robert Jr.’s keen eye for detail and commitment to quality ensured that every installation met the highest standards. Meanwhile, Ryan’s strategic vision propelled us forward, transforming us into the powerhouse we are today.
But our story doesn’t end here—it’s a testament to our enduring commitment to excellence, service, and family. Today, Robert Sr. is a highly respected Building Official and Robert Jr. serves as a Building Inspector, ensuring that every project meets the strictest codes and regulations. Sandy remains a cornerstone in the business serving our customers with the highest degree of care possible – always making them feel like family. Meanwhile, Ryan continues to lead our company into the future, driven by a passion for innovation and growth.
